Trust

From day to day it’s only natural to be concerned with a variety of cares in this life.  We think about our jobs – acquiring one, being the best at our craft, making a decent income, then what to do when it’s time to retire.  When we give birth to our children, holding them in our arms, we think about the challenges they will face, protecting them, loving them without limits while parenting them without a manual.  As the list of cares play out, God assures us that if we place our trust in Him, He will gently guide us each day.  Just as the roots of a tree grows deeper and stronger, so will we as we continue in His word and with constant communication.

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord… they are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water.  Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.  Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit.
