There are many people who have lost both father and mother; they have no siblings, no known relatives…. cousins, aunts or uncles, therefore they have no family connections. They perhaps feel a sense of disconnect and lack self-worth. Some have gone to great lengths to trace their family history through various ancestry platforms and still have no resolve…
They don’t realize that they have a spiritual ancestry… We have been grafted into God’s family and are a part of His family tree. Our roots are strong and deep; they go back to the men God choose that make up the “great cloud of witnesses”, spoken of in the book of Hebrews. We can take pride in knowing that the people of our spiritual family, left us a great inheritance of faith! In God, through Christ, we all have strong family ties… character traits of heroism, valor, courage and of humility. Don’t just take it from me, read God’s Word and see, you are apart of a phenomenal family tree!
