God’s compassion is never depleted…
Thirsty… God gives us a drink from His well that never dries up
Despondent… God will console you
Feeling Alone… God comforts us
Stressed… God’s presence is calming and sure to provide peace
Weak… God promises to give you joy and His joy gives strength
God’s love is limitless and has no bounds!
As we navigate our way through life, we are sure to come upon:
Road Blocks – Barricades set up to prevent us from going in the direction we’ve set out to go
Speed Bumps – Low raised ridges of cement in the road that cause us to slow down, take our time
Detours – Because of construction we are offered a different route to our destination, sometimes taking us a bit out of the way
Distractions – Created to direct our attention to something else
Life throws many things our way to take us from our journey, whatever the case may be, choose to get back on the straight and narrow road of which you travel, its the one that leads to eternal life
Enter through the narrow gate because the gate and road that lead to destruction are wide. Many enter through the wide gate. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13,14
From day to day it’s only natural to be concerned with a variety of cares in this life. We think about our jobs – acquiring one, being the best at our craft, making a decent income, then what to do when it’s time to retire. When we give birth to our children, holding them in our arms, we think about the challenges they will face, protecting them, loving them without limits while parenting them without a manual. As the list of cares play out, God assures us that if we place our trust in Him, He will gently guide us each day. Just as the roots of a tree grows deeper and stronger, so will we as we continue in His word and with constant communication.
Blessed are those who trust in the Lord… they are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NLT)
