When my mind is racing, feels as though it’s going to explode… He anchors me. When I arise to news of despair and gloom, His peace gives me assurance and keeps me looking up, trusting the calm He’s placed within. When the middle of my day turns completely chaotic, it’s in His small still voice, I can hear Him saying, “I am Jehovah Nissi, your victory banner over defeat and fear. When the violent storms of this life keep raging against me, God gives me blessed assurance that He goes before me, illuminating my path, He walks beside me coaching and encouraging me; He resides in me, reassuring me that greater is He who is within than the enemy in the world. I have an anchor in Christ alone, He steadies me, while keeping my faith in Him firm.
